United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI)’s recent investigation revealed, for the first time, that five German universities have close partnerships with Iran’s University of Religions and Denominations (URD), which is extensively affiliated with terrorist groups, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah and has endorsed and advocated for terrorist attacks on Israel.

In his first speech since Hamas attacked Israel from Gaza, Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah, spoke publicly in a widely-televised address two weeks ago about his Iran-backed terrorist group’s escalation of cross-border attacks against Israel from Lebanon. While Nasrallah denied Hezbollah’s involvement in planning the attack on Israel, he effusively praised Hamas and senior Hezbollah officials who have confirmed meetings in Beiruit with Hamas and senior Iranian regime leaders in the weeks prior to October 7. He also warned that the future held the “realistic” possibility for open conflict, pledging that “all options are open on the Lebanese front. All options are on the table, and we are ready for all possibilities.”

In case you missed it, last Friday, the Wall Street Journal editorial board featured data from United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) to illustrate the detrimental impact of lax sanctions enforcement by the Biden administration on Iran. In the piece, “Biden Keeps the Billions Flowing to Iran,” the editorial board praised UANI’s Iran Tanker Tracker, a monthly updated resource that tracks Iran’s exports to various countries, as generating “the best public data we have.” The Tanker Tracker uses Automatic Identification System (AIS) data, satellite imagery, vessel comparison, tanker classification, and cargo datasets to uncover under-the-radar ship-to-ship (STS) transfers and exports of Iranian oil and gas condensates.
