Internship Application

United Against Nuclear Iran, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York City, seeks rising college juniors and seniors as well as graduate students with excellent writing, research, and organizational skills to work on various projects. The internship is an excellent opportunity to learn the inner-workings of an advocacy campaign while gaining an understanding of U.S. foreign policy, nuclear non-proliferation, and Middle Eastern politics. The intern will gain experience in research, social media, and communications. Schedule is flexible.

Intern MUST be passionate about subject matter. Intern must be able to manage his/her time without extensive oversight and direction. Excellent candidates will be strongly considered for ongoing employment opportunities with UANI.


  • Rising college junior/senior or graduate student
  • Understanding of UANI’s mission
  • Passionate about subject matter
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and pitch ideas
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work well with others
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to take instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and able to commit 20 to 40 hours a week
  • Related work or internship experience is a plus
  • Second language (especially Farsi) is a plus
