UANI Times Square Billboard Thanks Senator Schumer for Principled Stand Against Iran Deal

New York, NY - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is launching a Times Square video billboard thanking New York Senator Chuck Schumer for his principled opposition to the Iran nuclear agreement, formally called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The 29-by-56-foot digital billboard reads: "Thank You Senator Schumer for Your Principled Leadership, Standing Strong for Our Security, and Opposing the Iran Nuclear Deal."

Speaking about the billboard, UANI CEO Ambassador Mark Wallace said:

We thank Senator Schumer for his principled opposition to the Iran nuclear deal, following his thoughtful, careful review of it. Americans across the political spectrum want elected officials to rise above partisanship and do what they think is best for our country ---   and Senator Schumer has done that. He deserves respect and appreciation ---   not personal attacks on his integrity, character, and patriotism, as well as attempts at political retaliation. The Iran deal should be supported or opposed on its merits alone. Intimidation and personal attacks should have no place in an honest debate on this deal.

The digital billboard is located in Times Square on the facade of 1500 Broadway, a skyscraper at the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street.
