United Against Nuclear
Iran (UANI) today
expressed its disappointment and concern with New York City's decision
to award the "Taxi of
Tomorrow" contract to Nissan, which does business in
Iran.
Nissan does extensive
business in Iran through its relationship with Iranian car manufacturer
Pars
Khodro. The other two finalists, Ford and Karsan, do not do business in
Iran.
