UANI Chairman Senator Joseph Lieberman and CEO Ambassador Mark Wallace Applaud Appointment of UANI Advisory Board Member Ambassador John Bolton as National Security Advisor

(New York, NY) - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, and Chairman Senator Joseph I. Lieberman issued the following statements today on President Trump's appointment of Ambassador John Bolton, a member of UANI's Advisory Board, as his next National Security Advisor.

"John is a distinguished lawyer, diplomat and thought leader, who has served his country with distinction. For decades his loyalty has been to the greatness of our country. He has an unmatched intellect, dry sense of humor and strong moral compass. He can be counted on to be a principled champion for American leadership. UANI has been fortunate to have Advisory Board members who have served in the highest offices of the administrations of Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama, and across party lines. That legacy continues with President Trump's appointment of my friend John Bolton as the next National Security Advisor. Further, I extend my thanks and gratitude to General McMaster for his longstanding and exemplary service to our country." said Ambassador Mark D. Wallace.

"On the most pressing issues confronting our nation, Ambassador Bolton has spoken with consistency and clarity, including on the threat posed by the Iranian regime. President Trump will benefit from his wise and experienced counsel," said Senator Joseph I. Lieberman.

"In addition, I want to thank General H.R. McMaster for his leadership and outstanding service to our nation. General McMaster is a true patriot and I wish him success in his future endeavors," added Senator Lieberman.
