UANI Applauds European Condemnation of Iranian Attack
(New York, N.Y.) – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace today applauded the statement by the E3—Great Britain, Germany, and France—blaming Iran for the attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure:
“The E3’s statement is a recognition of what UANI has been arguing since 2015: that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is a fatally flawed accord. Its front-loaded sanctions relief, sunset clauses, and the easing of international limitations on Iran’s ballistic missile program and arms exports, all make for an agreement that’s too broken to succeed.
“The E3 statement also demonstrates that Iran remains isolated, not the United States. Each successive Iranian provocation is uniting—rather than dividing—the world against this regime. It’s time for the rest of the P4+1 to join the United States in its maximum pressure campaign to bring Iran back to the negotiating table.”
UANI’s resource, The Iran Nuclear Deal: What’s Wrong With It And What Can We Do Now? provides a detailed analysis of the JCPOA’s problematic provisions and what should be done to fix the agreement.
