Statement by UANI President,
Ambassador Mark Wallace
on Terex's Business in Iran
New York, NY
- United Against Nuclear
Iran (UANI) today called
on Terex to fully disclose
the extent and nature of its business in Iran.
UANI President, Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, made the following
statement
regarding Terex's business in Iran:
It is
unfortunate that Terex's "new" policy
allows it to continue existing business arrangements in Iran.
A great
American company like Terex offering an "internal policy" to the
public that appears to be an example in clever word-smithing is
regrettable. The issue is simple: is Terex doing any business
in Iran
now, through any affiliate or subsidiary? Terex should be
transparent
about the products and services that it has provided in Iran in the
last year
and the money received from such Iran work, but it regrettably appears
unwilling to do so. We call on Terex to fully and
transparently reveal
this information.
