ICYMI: Brian Hook, Nikki Haley & Norman Roule Discuss Dangers Of Iran Arms Embargo Expiration In UANI Webinar

New York, N.Y.) Today, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) hosted a webinar discussion with Brian Hook, U.S. Special Representative for Iran and Senior Advisor to Secretary Pompeo, UANI Senior Advisor and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and UANI Senior Advisor and former U.S. National Intelligence Manager for Iran Norman Roule that explored the consequences with allowing the U.N. arms embargo to expire on October 18.

UANI Chairman Senator Joseph I. Lieberman and CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace welcomed the distinguished guests and had an in-depth discussion that highlighted Iranian state sponsorship of terror, its role in supporting proxy militias and the economic toll that has been placed on the Iranian regime as a result of the maximum pressure campaign against Tehran, crippling its financial ability to export terrorism.

UANI’s resource, JCPOA Sunset Alert: Arms Embargo, examines the dangers associated with – and the immediate destabilizing consequences that will occur – if the Islamic Republic is afforded the opportunity for lawful purchase, sale or transfer of advanced weaponry. After Resolution 2231’s expiration, the supply, sale, or transfer of any battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, large caliber artillery systems, combat aircraft, attack helicopters, warships, missiles, or missile systems to Iran will no longer require U.N. Security Council approval.
