The Islamic Republic’s brutal crackdown against women and girls choosing to defy the mandatory hijab law continues unabated, with over 500 Woman, Life, Freedom protesters killed since the start of the movement in September 2022.
Between April and June, Iran's police sent more than one million text warning messages to women seen on camera without a headscarf in their cars.
