UANI Applauds
Gotham Hall for
Denying President Ahmadinejad a Platform for Propaganda
New York, NY - UANI applauds Gotham Hall for denying President
Ahmadinejad a
platform for propaganda and for refusing to host the Iranian
delegation.
In a statement, David Miller, a representative of Apple Core Holdings,
the
parent company of Gotham Hall said "Once we learned of the nature of
this
event and the attendance of President Ahmadinejad, we took steps to
cancel the
event."
UANI President Ambassador Mark Wallace said of Gotham Hall's decision
"UANI applauds Gotham Hall for taking a stand and choosing not
to
provide President Ahmadinejad with a bullhorn for his
propaganda.
Gotham Hall made a decision to align itself with the international
community to
isolate Iran and its thuggish theocracy. We thank our
supporters for
helping us in our mission to disrupt Iran's ability to do business as
long as
it continues to finance an illegal nuclear weapons
program. We call
on other American and international businesses to follow the
example of
Gotham Hall."
