#KhameneiFreeZone: New UANI Campaign to Counter Iranian Regime’s Infiltration of Europe
(New York, NY) – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) today announces the launch of a new strategic campaign aimed at dismantling the Iranian regime’s extensive infiltration networks across Europe. Building on previous successes in Germany, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, UANI’s campaign seeks to curb the influence and operations of European entities linked to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and affiliated organizations.
Over the last three decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has constructed a covert soft-power infrastructure within Europe. This network operates under the guise of “religious and cultural organizations,” but actively promotes IRGC-linked Islamist radicalization, extreme antisemitism, and facilitates Iranian regime-sponsored terrorism on European soil. These activities have targeted European cities and nationals, not least the Iranian diaspora and Jewish community.
As UANI’s 2025 campaign gains momentum, it will start in the United Kingdom this month and move on to additional major European capitals this year. By leveraging new evidence and intelligence, UANI seeks the dismantling of Khamenei’s infiltration networks across Europe and the deportation of representatives directly affiliated with the Iranian regime and IRGC extremist activities.

Recent exposés by UANI have prompted unprecedented law enforcement actions across Europe:
- New evidence revealed by UANI to German authorities linked the Islamic Center of Hamburg (IZH) directly to IRGC and Hezbollah-affiliated entities in Iran. This led to over 50 police raids, the high-profile closure of the IZH in July 2024, and the subsequent expulsion from Germany of Khamenei’s official representative.
- UANI uncovered a strategic agreement, previously unknown to Swedish authorities, that allowed the IRGC to exploit collaborations between Iranian and Swedish universities to advance Iran’s military programs. Subsequent media coverage and action by Sweden’s minister for education aimed to ensure “competence in matters of security in the boards of public universities.”
- A UANI investigation exposed a UK-based radicalization cell led by the IRGC. Footage obtained by UANI revealed IRGC commanders, hosted online by the Al-Tawheed Trust, advocating for terrorism and antisemitic violence. This evidence, revealed in January 2024, triggered an inquiry by UK regulatory authorities, which is currently ongoing.
