Alireza Moazami Goudarzi
In 2010, Goudarzi contacted a U.S. supplier seeking to buy certain civilian aircraft parts for shipment to Iran, and as an incentive, offered to pay more than market value because of the embargo on sending these parts to Iran. Federal prosecutors filed a motion on Jan. 16, 2016, to drop the case against Alireza Moazami Goudarzi, an Iranian man accused in 2012 of trying to buy aircraft parts for Iran, including those for military aircraft engines.
