Will Khamenei Suffer the Same Fate as Assad If He Loses His Ideological Supporters?

Ideological supporters loyal to Ali Khamenei and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are gradually turning their backs on the Islamic Republic because of what they call "betrayals" of their ideals, and thus the regime is facing growing fissures similar to the gradual collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria.
