The tanker Seahorse was involved in the export of Russian oil and petroleum products during the G7 and EU embargo and the price ceiling mechanism. It repeatedly called at ports in occupied Crimea—Kamysh-Burun in June 2025, and Kerch and Kamysh-Burun in July 2025, according to Ukrainian intelligence. . . . According to United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), the tanker had previously been used to transport Iranian oil. The tanker is included on UANI's list of vessels linked to the Iran-Venezuela oil trade (the Maduro-Khamenei Oil Alliance).
