UANI Statement on Diplomatic Incident Between Iran and Poland Over Iran’s Proliferation of Shahed Drones

UANI Condemns Iran’s Intimidation Tactics Against Poland’s Chargé d'Affaires after Shahed-136 Drone Event in U.K. Parliament

As President Trump stated, the Iranian regime “has turned a wealthy country, with a rich history and culture, into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and terror.”

(New York, N.Y.) – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) Chairman Governor Jeb Bush, CEO Ambassador Mark Wallace, and Senior Advisor Rt. Hon. Tom Tugendhat MP released the following statement today on the diplomatic incident between Iran and Poland over Iran’s proliferation of Shahed Drones. The Iranian regime’s Foreign Ministry summoned Poland’s Chargé d'Affaires in protest over Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski’s participation and remarks at UANI’s event in the U.K. Parliament on Tuesday, where an Iranian Shahed-136 drone was put on public display for the first time in British history.

“The United States, the United Kingdom, and the NATO alliance stand firmly in support of Poland. Foreign Minister Sikorski’s statements condemning Iran’s proliferation of terror weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine and beyond invited a sharp response from Iran as the Iranian regime cannot stand being revealed for what it is—the world’s number one state-sponsor of terrorism and the world’s largest proliferator of drone terror.

“Poland’s strength, courage, and freedom stand at the forefront of the European Union and the NATO alliance. We stand with Poland.

“Soon the Iranian people will enjoy the same freedoms, unshackled from the despotic Ayatollah and his regime’s commitment to terrorism, violence, and death. We all stand with the Iranian people.”
