UANI Releases First 100 Days Plan on Iran for the Trump Administration

(New York, NY) – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is today releasing a comprehensive plan with recommendations to remake America’s Iran policy during the first 100 days of the incoming Trump administration. Recognizing Tehran as a major source of international terrorism and regional destabilization, UANI’s plan lays out a whole-of-government strategy built around four key instruments of American national power: Diplomatic, Informational, Military, and Economic (DIME).

Among UANI’s recommendations are:

  • Invoke the U.N. snapback sanctions mechanism.
  • Demand Iran to adhere to zero enrichment or reprocessing in its nuclear program.
  • Form a Countering Iran Coalition with U.S. allies and partners to pressure the Islamic Republic.
  • Seize and repurpose Iranian assets to form a Democratization Fund for the Iranian people.
  • Targeted military strikes on IRGC and Intelligence Ministry facilities inside Iran if Tehran harms U.S. persons.
  • Designate Iran’s entire Ghost Fleet of vessels evading U.S. sanctions.
  • Launch a defectors/rewards program for sea captains who commit not to carry Iranian oil aboard their vessels.

Through this comprehensive DIME-based approach, UANI believes the incoming administration can weaken the Islamic Republic of Iran while providing space for the Iranian people to realize their own aspirations. By beginning to act on these recommendations within the first 100 days, the incoming administration would ensure that the Islamic Republic finally faces real costs for its decades-long campaign of aggression and repression.

Today, Fox News published an exclusive report on UANI’s plan.
