UANI Puts Shahed Drone Terror Weapon—The True Face of Iranian Regime—On Public Display In New York
(New York, NY) – On Monday, February 24, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) will display the Iranian regime’s Shahed-136 drone—the world’s most lethal, widely deployed terror weapon of mass destruction and the true face of the Islamic Republic—at the Millenium Hilton Hotel at One U.N. Plaza for a special viewing for U.N. member states.
Journalists are invited to join VIP guests to see first-hand the Shahed drone, manufactured by entities controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran’s Ministry of Defense—both of which operate under strict U.S. and international sanctions.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and its terror proxies have used the Shahed to maim and kill citizens from around the world. The drone has repeatedly been used against U.S troops across the Middle East and was the weapon that struck America’s Tower 22 Base in Jordan, resulting in the deaths of three American servicemembers and wounding 47 others. Iran has also launched Shahed drones against Israel, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine, among others.
Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, CEO of UANI, said: "By putting the Islamic Republic of Iran’s primary killing machine, the Shahed-136 drone, on public display in New York, we will lay bare the true face of the Iranian regime and its determination to weaponize and mass-produce terror. This weapon is the modern day V1 Buzz Bomb used by the Nazis in the Second World War.”
