UANI Applauds President Trump for Sanctioning More Ghost Armada Vessels
17 Out of 29 Vessels Designated Last Week First Appeared on UANI’s Ghost Armada List
(New York, N.Y.) – – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) Chairman Governor Jeb Bush and CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace released the following statement today after President Trump last week sanctioned 29 additional Ghost Armada vessels defying American sanctions on Iran.
“UANI applauds President Trump and his administration for sanctioning 29 Ghost Armada vessels and their respective management firms which have resourced Iran’s regime with hundreds of millions of dollars via an illicit oil trade. UANI originally identified 17 of the 29 vessels sanctioned in this tranche on its Ghost Armada list, leading to the U.S. sanctions imposed last week.
“These vessels are DIANA, FLORA DOLCE, FOSHAN, GOLDEN EAGLE, KURDOS, KURDOS II, MARUTI, M K A, NEBULA DRIFT, NOMIKI, RAMYA, SKYLIGHT, AUROURA, SEAMULL, SEA ROCK, and SEA WISE.
“Additionally, this year Qatrat Alnada Almasi Ship Management L.L.C wrote to UANI requesting the removal of SEAMULL, SEA WISE, and SEA ROCK from its Ghost Armada list. On November 25, 2025, UANI replied to Qatrat Alnada Almasi Ship Management L.L.C, refusing to remove these three vessels from the Ghost Armada list, stating that ‘our comprehensive review of satellite imagery and shipping records strongly indicates that each vessel continues to exhibit or has exhibited within the past 24 months hallmarks of sanctionable and covert activity associated with the transportation of Iranian oil. We note that each vessel is also over 20 years old, raising serious environmental and operational safety concerns.’
“We commend President Trump and his administration for designating over 180 vessels evading American sanctions. There are still 242 out of 560 vessels which appear on UANI’s Ghost Armada list which have not been sanctioned. We urge all responsible nations and international organizations to designate the Ghost Armada in its entirety to prevent the Iranian regime from rebuilding its nuclear program and military.”
