UANI Applauds Precision Strikes on the Islamic Republic and Stands with Israel and the People of Iran

Joint Statement from Gov. Jeb Bush and Amb. Mark D. Wallace

(New York, NY) – Today, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) Chairman Governor Jeb Bush and CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace released the following statement, applauding the targeted strikes against senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iranian nuclear facilities, and expressing support for both Israel and the Iranian people.

“Today, we stand with Israel and the people of Iran. Israel should never again face the threat of nuclear annihilation at the hands of this murderous regime. Israel has the absolute right to defend against Iran’s nuclear threats. It did so with precision and respect for the Iranian people as it targeted the Ayatollah’s regime and the oppressors of the Iranian people.

“The strikes against the most senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) — the Ayatollah’s terror arm —targeted those who have threatened Israel's existence, occupied, terrorized, and looted the great Iranian nation and that spread terror death and destruction across the Middle East.

“Israel has inflicted severe damage to the Ayatollah, the terrorist IRGC, and the nuclear weapons program it controls. The last gasp dash of the Ayatollah to a nuclear weapon was a cling to power. The sclerotic mafia-like Iranian regime has rotted from within as a result of vast corruption, cronyism, and greed. The old and feeble Ayatollah is in hiding fully isolated and removed from the people of Iran without any clear successor and his henchman eliminated. For decades, Iran’s vast oil wealth has been misused to enrich the mullahs and IRGC oligarchs, and to pay for terrorist mercenaries like Hezbollah, Hamas, and Bashar al-Assad. And so, we have come to this day where the leaderless, corrupt regime failed to protect even its most senior cronies, including Mohammad Bagheri, Hossein Salami, and Amir-Ali Hajizadeh in their own bedrooms. It is no surprise that the corrupt IRGC henchman and ideological fanatics remaining have begun to turn on Khamenei and each other with accusations of corruption, and abandonment, in scenes increasingly resembling that of Assad in Syria.
