UANI Announces More Speakers at Capitol Hill Event Unveiling Iranian Drone on May 8

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sen. James Lankford, and Rep. Claudia Tenney to Speak

(New York, NY) – On Thursday, May 8, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) will display the Iranian regime’s Shahed-136 drone—one of the world’s most lethal and widely deployed terror weapons of mass destruction—on Capitol Hill. This unique event comes amid mounting international concern over Iran’s malign drone proliferation.

This exclusive display will be held in the Cannon Caucus Room (Room 390) and Members of Congress and Senators, including U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, Senator James Lankford, and Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, will deliver remarks. 

More speakers will be announced in the coming days.

Manufactured by entities controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran’s Ministry of Defense—both under U.S. and international sanctions—the Shahed-136 has been used by the Islamic Republic and its proxies to terrorize civilians and military targets alike. The drone was responsible for the deadly attack on America’s Tower 22 base in Jordan, which killed three American servicemembers and injured 47 others.
