ICYMI: UANI Displays Iranian Regime Shahed-136 Drone at the Munich Security Conference and U.N. Security Council

(New York, NY)—In February and March, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) displayed the Iranian regime’s Shahed-136 drone, the same terror weapon of mass destruction that Tehran and its proxies are currently deploying against the United States and its allies in the Middle East, at the Munich Security Conference and the U.N. Security Council. The drone has become a defining symbol of the Iranian regime’s global campaign of terror and destabilization.

On February 13, UANI exhibited the Shahed-136 it acquired with assistance from the Polish and Ukrainian governments at the Munich Security Conference, where the drone was showcased to global security leaders and policymakers gathered to discuss the most pressing international threats.

UANI’s CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace joined Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski and UANI Senior Advisor and former U.K. Security Minister Rt. Hon. Tom Tugendhat MP for a panel discussion on the Iranian regime’s drone threat just weeks before the United States and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury to erode this Iranian military capability.

Separately, on March 5, UANI brought the Shahed-136 to the U.N. Security Council, where
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon displayed parts of the drone during an urgent press briefing on Iran’s drone threat and war strategy.

In his keynote remarks, Ambassador Danon asserted:

“Let me make it clear: this is the threat we are facing. This is the engine of an Iranian Shahed-136 attack drone acquired by the watchdog, United Against Nuclear Iran. Not a prop, not a toy—a weapon … built to travel thousands of miles across borders. It can reach cities in Israel, in Europe, and in a few months even the U.S. … This is the terror we are facing … That is why we are acting.”

UANI has also displayed the Iranian regime Shahed-136 drone at UK Parliament and the U.S. Congress, exposing the true face of the Iranian regime. It underscores the need for Operation Epic Fury to degrade Iran’s drone industrial base.
