Panama cracks down on dark fleet with age restrictions

Panama came under fire from the group United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) at the end of May when its CEO Mark Wallace accused Panama-flagged vessels of being involved in nearly one-in-five, or 17%, of ships tracked carrying cargoes of Iranian oil. At the time Panama strongly rejected what it called “misleading claims.”
