Polish FM Crosses Swords with Iranian Counterpart over Iran’s Sale of Drones to Russia

Radosław Sikorski, Poland’s foreign minister, has hit back at his Iranian counterpart for criticizing him for taking a Shahed drone to the British parliament, telling him it would be better not to sell drones to Russia. . . . Last Tuesday, Sikorski displayed a Shahed at the House of Commons in London during a speech at an event organized by advocacy group United Against Nuclear Iran. Sikorski said the Iranian-made drone had been shot down over Ukraine and was being presented to highlight Iran’s collaboration with Russia, which also makes the aircraft under license.
