Eye on Iran's Protests - March 8, 2024

The Islamic Republic’s legitimacy continues to erode in the view of the Iranian populace, leading the regime to enact more violent internal security measures, including wide-spread executions, detainment, and torture. Over 500 peaceful protesters have been gunned down on the streets in connection to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. Separately, more than 800 people were executed in 2023, making Iran one of the world’s leading executioners.
