General Cargo ship ATAMEKEN (IMO: 9686390), managed by KM Ship, has called at Iranian ports on five occasions since November 5, 2018, most recently in June 2019.
"When concluding and performing the contract, neither "KMSM" nor the Shipowner were willing to breach the norms of international law, including imposed sanctions against Iran. At present, "KMSM" came up with the proposal to the Shipowner to terminate contractual obligations with respect to motor vehicle "Atameken" before August 15, 2019. In light of the above, "KMSM" confirm their adherence to the claims towards Iran's leaders and notify you about accepting your recommendations stated in your letter dated July 26, 2019." (8/9/2019).
