"Ramezan Sharif is a spokesman of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC has been heavily involved in the active and violent suppression of the 2022/2023 protests in Iran and is therefore responsible for serious human rights violations. In his role, Sharif is covering up and condoning serious human rights violations committed by the IRGC. Therefore, Ramezan Sharif is responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran."1
