"Hojjat al-Eslam Hossein Hosseini is the Head of the Judiciary in the Kurdistan region. During the 2022/2023 protests, he participated in the repression of the demonstrations and is responsible for implementing grave human rights violations in the repression of peaceful demonstrators. He is complicit in implementing those violations, including torture, cruel and inhuman and degrading treatment. He is therefore responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran."1
