UANI Welcomes the Return of All Living Hostages to Israel, Applauds Leadership of President Trump

(New York, N.Y.)—UANI Chairman Jeb Bush and CEO Mark D. Wallace remarked on the first phase of the U.S.-mediated breakthrough hostage deal between Israel and Hamas:

“Today, we welcome home the final 20 hostages who have endured unimaginable suffering in Hamas captivity. Our hearts are with every survivor and their families, and we pray for the return of the remains of the deceased still being held in Gaza.

“We applaud the efforts of President Trump and his diplomats, whose tireless work and determination was instrumental in making this historic agreement possible. The President truly delivered on his promise to bring them home.

“While the hostages’ return marks the end of an horrific chapter, it does not close the book on accountability.  Make no mistake: the Hamas-led atrocities of October 7 could not have happened without the support of Iran.

“Iran has funded, trained and armed Hamas for decades, and as the world’s leading state sponsor of terror and antisemitism, the spilled blood is not only on the hands of the terrorist group but on its enablers in Tehran.

“For too long, Iran has exploited the Palestinian cause to advance its own radical agenda, using Palestinians as pawns and cannon fodder in a cynical campaign against the existence of the Jewish state. Palestinians and Israelis deserve better.

“Peace cannot exist while Iran continues to fund terror and rejoice in violence. We will continue to pursue every avenue to dismantle these networks of hate and to ensure that ‘never again’ means something beyond a platitude.”
