UANI Statement on the Fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s Regime in Syria

(New York, NY) – The Chairman of United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) Governor Jeb Bush and UANI CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace have released the following statement on the collapse of the regime of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad:

“The fall of the brutal Bashar Al-Assad is the latest sign that the dominos of the Iranian regime’s malign, yet fragile, empire are falling. Its proxies are decimated, its key allies are disappearing, and Iran’s people despise the ayatollah and his cronies. And after Israel’s retaliatory strike on October 26, Iran’s regime sits largely defenseless. 

“Since 1979, the Iranian people have suffered through two ayatollahs. Those two ayatollahs have caused widespread killing and suffering throughout the world. Allied nations and the people of Iran should ensure in this moment of extraordinary opportunity that there is no third ayatollah and another generation of suffering and harm at his hands. It ais time for leadership by the West and allied countries in the region to support the Iranian people to throw off the shackles of the despot.”
