A regime loyalist in Iran died Wednesday after he confronted demonstrators as unrest over economic problems took a violent turn, state media said. . . . Following the death, [UANI Senior Advisor] Saeid Golkar, an associate professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga who follows Iran, warned of “a mass crackdown as soon as possible. . . . The only strategy the regime knows is repression.”
