“If the U.S. strikes a bridge [in Iran], for instance, it could be lawful depending on how it’s being used. If it’s being used to move troops, missiles, military supplies, then it could very well be a lawful objective. . . . Regarding [Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas] Araghchi’s comments, he is consistently used by the regime to be the more legitimate face of Iran and he regularly accuses the U.S. of war crimes. . . . It was only back in January that the Iranian regime slaughtered en masse at least 40,000 of its own civilians.
