UANI Statement on Israel’s Killing of IRGC Terrorist Saeid Izadi
(New York, NY) – Today United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) CEO Ambassador Mark D. Wallace released the following statement after Israel conducted a targeted killing of Saeid Izadi, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force’s (IRGC-QF) Palestinian Affairs Branch.
“Saeid Izadi was one of the worst terror mass murderers in history. He was involved in the financing and planning of Hamas’s October 7, 2023, terrorist attack in Israel, which was the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. He played a critical role in building the Islamic Republic’s ‘ring of fire’ strategy to eradicate Israel.
“The Israel Defense Forces recovered documents from Gaza which depicted coordination between Izadi and Hamas in the months before the October 7 massacre. The late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar sent a letter to Izadi in 2021 requesting assistance totaling $500 million over two years to destroy Israel.
“Izadi worked closely in liaising with Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian terror groups which slaughtered Israelis, Arabs, Americans, Europeans, and countless others. Izadi was sanctioned by the U.S. government as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist for this reason.
“Israel continues to carry out its military campaign against the leading state-sponsor of terrorism in Iran with precision and professionalism. Izadi’s demise makes America and our allies safer
“UANI has exposed the identities of additional key operatives within the IRGC-QF’s Palestinian Affairs Branch who played direct roles in planning the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks They, too, should face the same fate as Izadi.”
