Eye on Iran's Protests - January 26, 2024

Iran executed another Woman, Life, Freedom protester, adding to the over 500 individuals that have been killed by security forces since the protest movement began in September 2022. Countless other protesters have been detained, tortured, and sentenced to lengthy prison terms and death after sham trials, which often involve forced confessions.

The regime executed Mohammad Ghobadlou, a 23-year-old who was detained and prosecuted for protesting for freedom.
