Japan’s Fuji Oil Co., which will not make a final decision until after discussions with the government and other refineries, will likely replace Iranian shipments with shipments from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates if it has to. JXTG Holdings Inc., a refiner, plans to follow government guidance, and if necessary will replace Iranian supplies with supplies from the Middle East, West Africa, and possibly the United States. "UK-based Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran Oil Terminals Company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, to cooperate in oil and gas development projects. The MoU was signed on Wednesday by Kambiz Zandiyeh, general manager of the British firm, and Pirouz Mousavi, managing director of IOTC, on the sidelines the 23rd International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition held in Tehran from May 6-9, Shana reported. As per the agreement, Dunlop will provide IOTC with a range of services, including the supply of and technical support for floating and submarine hoses attached to single point moorings. Dunlop Oil & Marine is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of hoses for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, for both offshore and onshore operations. On the same day, IOTC concluded three other agreements with domestic firms for a gamut of activities, including technical services maintenance of oil and gas infrastructures in the oil-rich southern regions." The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) said the implementation of a contract with Spain’s Tubacex for providing CRA pipelines is “satisfactory”, adding removing production bottlenecks of the project is under way for technology transfer to Iran. (5/9/2018)

"By signing a contract worth $630 million with an Iranian-Spanish consortium on Wednesday, Iran joined the world’s manufacturers of special pipes, which are of strategic importance in the oil and gas industry. The contract was signed in Tehran by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the consortium, which includes Spain’s TUBACEX and Iran’s Mobarakeh Steel Company. The project aims to produce pipes made of corrosion resistant alloy (CRA) for a network of 600 kilometers over three years." (May 24, 2017).

In 2017, Tubacex was added to the Pennsylvania Treasury's List of Scrutinized Companies Determined as Having Involvement in Iran because of oil-related investment of US $20 million since 1996 and new involvement was identified.

"Municipality of the Iranian province of Qazvin and South Korean company ‘Texa Resource’ signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on urban waste management field. Urban waste management is an important issue in Iran, Qazvin mayor Ali Safari said on Tuesday, expressing the hope to resolve the problem with the help of expert firms. Meanwhile, director general of Texa Resource said waste management was a problem for South Korea, but it was resolved in a short time. He also expressed the hope for mutual cooperation to resolve the issue." (January 30, 2018).

TEHRAN - Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) signed a memorandum of understating (MOU) with the Chinese company Sunshine and Konda Energy from Hong Kong to establish a joint company for manufacturing solar panels.

As IRNA reported, IDRO will have a 30-percent share from the company while the rest will be equally divided. IDIRO will proceed to registering after finalizing the company statute in less than a month. (December 5, 2017)

Germany's Raschig and Iran's Research Institute of Petroleum Industry have signed a memorandum of understanding on gas sweetening towers. (May 11, 2018)

Germany’s Raschig GmbH has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry on transfer of technology to Iran’s oil, gas and petrochemical industries...The preliminary deal is centered on providing Iran with the know-how to design and build distillation units at refineries and petrochemical plants based on Raschig’s equipment.The German firm will also hold training courses in Tehran as part of the agreement." In 2018 the U.S. state of Iowa listed PTT Public Company as an Iran restricted company rendering PTT Public Company ineligible for investment and/or state contracting.

In 2017 the U.S. states of Michigan listed Pan American Energy on its list of companies doing material business with Iran rendering Pan American Energy ineligible for investment and/or state contracting.

In 2017 the U.S. state of South Carolina listed Oriental Energy as an Iran restricted company rendering Oriental Energy ineligible for investment and/or state contracting.
