The COVID pandemic has changed the world, but it has not done away with the rivalries that dominate global strategy. The ongoing talks aimed at bringing the U.S. back into the Iran nuclear deal that former President Donald Trump withdrew from are evidence of that – as is the recent attack on Iran’s enrichment facility at Natanz.
