New York, NY - "It has come to the attention of United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) that JP Morgan and its staff planned a panel discussion for the benefit of JP Morgan’s staff and clients on Monday June 1st with Parviz Davoodi, the Vice President of Iran. UANI and its supporters are dismayed and concerned over this revelation and ask JP Morgan to clarify this report and to cancel any such event. To make a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear problem possible, international firms doing business in Iran cannot continue to provide the last crutch to the Iranian economy - in the global economy, multinational corporations that continue to work with pariah states are effectively as important as nations. UANI is prepared to protest any such event and we ask all those who are as troubled by this revelation to help us stand United Against a Nuclear Iran and to send a loud and clear message to JP Morgan to forego such an event." – Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, President, UANI
