In March 2010, Germany’s Bayerngas GmbH, a subsidiary of the Norweigan oil and gas company Bayerngas Norge, pulled out of a development plan for a “major natural gas filling station which was to have 100 filling stations to service 100,000 cars.”
Subsidiary of the Norwegian oil and gas company Bayerngas Norge. Signed a deal in 2009 with the National Iranian Oil Company to install filling stations around the country to provide automobiles with compressed natural gas. As a result of international pressure and sanctions on Iran, Bayerngas shelved the deal in March 2010.
